Since he's already got Missouri.there really ISN'T a reason to get the makes less credits, has worse sigma, less AA.personally, if he's talking about throwing the FXP at Mushi, I'd just spend 2/3 of it and FXP to the Yammy. No, the strength of Musashi is that it puts your team up a Tier X, unless the other team has a Musashi as well, and then you've kept things even. A lot of people, such as the guy I quoted below, like to pretend that the Musashi bringing 460mm guns to use on Tier VIIs is supposedly the sales pitch and, as the guy below notes, that is silly as every single Tier IX (and VIII) BB already overmatches the plating of every Tier VII BB and CA. With Musashi you essentially have a Tier X BB at Tier IX, which means that unless the opposing team also has a Musashi you are matching your almost Tier X BB against an opponent's Tier IX BB. Once/if the CV rework is completed and goes live that might change, but for now Musashi is clearly superior to other Tier IX BBs due to her guns, armor and health. Musashi is currently the best Tier IX BB in the game. They gave a similar heads up when Missouri was removed. Beginning with update 0.8.0 ships of the IX level Musashi and Kronstadt will not be able to buy for free XP and will not be able to buy them for coal in the game client.
